As a lot of people may know, I am a magazine junkie. Yup. My mom refers it to "getting my dose" every time I purchase a new issue. And purchasing new issues I do. Often. With Mag's, you have to take some and then leave some: Some may say they are a bad influence, portraying perfect airbrushed bodies, twisting some reality (e.g. "9 hints he is cheating on you" articles get you to cringe.) but overall, Women's magazine feature some constructive content from ongoing trends to kick ass Women waiting to rule the World.
So the September issues are out. I've read all of the above. That kinda of makes me a "magaholic". Sad.
- Very touching article about a mother and daughter sharing a husband in the Marie-Claire issue. Yes, it is common within certain tribes. (And no, he isn't her Father.)
- Very intriguing interview with Whitney Cummings in ELLE. At 28 years old, she stars in her own sitcom "Whitney" that she wrote and directs but is also Producer on "two broke girls" which is the new show that's got everyone raving.
- Of course, everyone has September 11th on their lips at the moment. The open letters written to the losts in the attacks got me all teared up.
- All issues had gorgeous cover girls. Please let us know what they eat. But my favorite cover overall was miss Agron from Glee. Who knew she had that sexyness in her.
- There is a sparkly Miu Miu shoe in almost every issue.
- There are no words to describe Kate Moss's wedding spread. She is a model afterall.
